The Newburyport Summer Farmers’ Market re-opens Sunday, May 5th and will continue every Sunday throughout the season, rain or shine, from 9am-1pm in the Tannery parking lot. The Newburyport Farmers’ Market is a great place to buy local products, support local businesses, network, and socialize with the community. If you are looking for ways to take a step in a healthier direction this year, visit the Farmers’ Market to stock up on fresh produce, learn about seasonal foods, and try something new!
The Newburyport Farmers’ market has something for everyone with a variety of vendors such as local farms, food purveyors, winerys, and artisans. Enjoy in-season produce from farms such as Heron Pond Farm,The Herb FARMacy, Kellie Brook Farm, Applecrest Farm, and more! There is no better to learn about, and try new foods then to talk to the farmers themselves. Be sure to ask for recommendations, recipes, and to try samples of their products. When we support local farms we better our own health, reduce our carbon footprint, and support families and members of our community. If you are interested in wine and spirits visit the 1634 Meadery, and Squamscott Vineyard and Winerybooths.
You will not only find farm-fresh food at the Farmers’ Market, but handmade goods. Be on the lookout for local artisans such as Luxa Jewelry,NatraleeBody Goods, Serve Kindness GlassBowls, and Sasquatch Woodworks cutting boards and kitchen accessories. All of the goods found at the market make perfect gifts for your friends, loved ones, or yourselves. You can purchase these items knowing that they were made from love, with the talent cultivated by members of your community!
