Spinach Mango Smoothie

Green SmoothieWith January in the rear view and our resolutions (hopefully) still a priority; we thought a new smoothie recipe would be the perfect keep-on-track motivation. It’s a difficult time of year to stay focused especially when binge watching a good series is so appealing. But these winter months are actually a great time to get motivated about being healthy when summer ice cream trips aren’t such a temptation. While your hunkered down for the winter why not experiment with recipes that may seem boring but are actually packed full of immune boosting ingredients. A green smoothie may not seem like your thing but trust us – it’s not what you think! Besides the color, you’d never know it had a spinach base. It’s creamy & sweet and definitely one of those drinks you’ll keep coming back to.

To make one smoothie

1 ½ cups frozen mango pieces

1 ripe banana

1 cup packed spinach

¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
